Who we are
VIDsend.pro is run by [company name, registered address, company number]. We are the controller for account data. For videos and comments your workspace creates, your workspace is the controller and we process that data on its behalf.
What we collect
When you use your account
- Your name, email address and workspace.
- The videos, screenshots, transcripts, comments, reactions, tasks and replies you create.
- Settings you choose, such as who can watch a video.
- Billing details for paid plans, handled by our payment provider. We don't store full card numbers.
When you watch a video
- That you viewed it, how far you watched and which buttons you clicked, so the creator can see who watched.
- Your email address, if the video asks for one.
When you record a bug report
- Your browser, system and screen size, saved with the video.
- Console and network logs only if you attach them. URLs in them are stripped of query strings.
What stays on your computer
Background blur runs on your own computer. The camera image isn't sent anywhere to blur it.
How we use it
- To run the service: store, play and share your videos, and show insights to their creators.
- To draft titles, summaries, chapters and documents from transcripts, unless an admin has turned AI features off.
- To bill paid plans and send account emails, such as a watch-later reminder.
- To keep the service secure and fix problems.
We don't sell personal data, and we don't use your videos to advertise to you.
Who we share it with
With the people you choose to share videos with, and with the companies that help us run the service: [hosting, video processing, transcription, AI drafting, email and payments providers, with their locations]. We'll list each one on the Security page.
How long we keep it
Videos stay until you or your workspace delete them, or until your workspace's retention policy removes them. Deleted videos stay in the trash for 30 days. Account data is deleted [period] after an account is closed.
Your rights
You can see, correct, export or delete your data. Insights and the activity log export as CSV. To ask about data in a workspace you belong to, contact that workspace's admin first, or write to us.
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and remember your settings. We don't use advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, we'll ask first and update this section.
